How to buy from Konzolvilág and ship worldwide
Konzolvilág is Hungary’s largest video-game retail network, selling PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC games and hardware, plus accessories, collectible cards, LEGO, board games and consumer electronics.
Where Konzolvilág delivers — and what to do if that is not you
Konzolvilág serves the Hungarian market: forint pricing, Hungarian payment methods and domestic delivery. International checkout is not offered.
Physical games are the reliable case here. European releases are frequently cheaper than the same title elsewhere, collector and limited editions are allocated by region, and Hungarian stock survives longer than in larger markets.
Retailers change their delivery countries without notice, so always confirm at checkout. If your own address is not accepted, a Budapest one will be — Hungary is inside the EU single market, and European shops ship there as a matter of course.
How it works
Get your EU address
Register for free and receive your personal Shipify address in Budapest, Hungary — a real street address inside the European Union. No monthly fee.
Order from Konzolvilág to that address
Shop as any European customer would and enter your Shipify address at checkout. Your billing address can stay in your own country — the two do not need to match.
We receive and hold it
Your parcel appears in your panel the moment it arrives, with a photo on request. Storage is free for the first 30 days, so you can let several orders collect.
Forward it home
Pick your destination, combine parcels into one shipment if you like, and we ship door to door with full carrier tracking.
Ordering from Konzolvilág: what actually matters
Practical notes specific to this retailer and what it sells.
Check the voltage before you buy hardware
A console sold in Hungary ships with a European plug, and depending on the model its power supply may be built for 220–240 V only. Some consoles are dual-voltage and some are not — confirm the exact model’s rating before ordering, because a plug adapter alone will not fix a single-voltage unit.
Games are usually region-free — confirm the title
Current PlayStation, Xbox and Switch discs and cartridges are generally region-free, and European releases normally carry several language options including English. Older generations and some region-locked editions are exceptions.
Discs and cards travel far better than hardware
Games, controllers and collectible cards are light, cheap to send and free of the voltage question entirely. If you are buying both, consider forwarding the software separately from the console.
Before you order: Electronics above €850 are restricted shipments under our Terms and need prior approval, and anything containing a lithium battery — controllers, handhelds, power banks — is treated as dangerous goods by air carriers. Tell us before you order so we can confirm the route. See our Terms for the full list.
What people actually order from Konzolvilág
Ranges you cannot buy through normal retail outside Europe — which is usually what makes the forwarding worth it in the first place.
European physical releases
Discs and cartridges pressed for the European market, usually multi-language and often cheaper than the same title elsewhere.
Collector and limited editions
Allocated by region, so a European edition can be the only one still in stock anywhere.
Trading-card products
Sealed card products are light, high in value per kilo and among the cheapest things to forward.
What forwarding costs
Per-kg pricing from our Budapest warehouse, with a small minimum. Work out an exact figure in the shipping calculator, or read how the EU address works on the package forwarding from Europe page.
Frequently asked questions
Can I buy from Konzolvilág if they don’t deliver to my country? +
Yes — that is exactly what a forwarding address is for. You get a Budapest delivery address, Konzolvilág treats the order as a normal European delivery, and we forward the parcel on to you. Always confirm at checkout whether the storefront accepts your billing card; the delivery address is the part we solve.
Can I pay Konzolvilág with a card issued outside Europe? +
Usually yes. Most European storefronts accept international Visa and Mastercard, and your billing address does not have to match the delivery address. Some retailers additionally offer PayPal, which sidesteps the question entirely.
How much does the forwarding cost? +
It depends on destination and weight: a published per-kg rate with a small minimum, always shown in the panel before you confirm. Receiving a parcel costs a small intake fee. Consolidating several orders into one shipment is normally the largest saving available.
Can I combine several Konzolvilág orders into one shipment? +
Yes, and you should. Parcels wait at the Budapest warehouse free of charge for 30 days, and you choose which ones travel together — you then pay international shipping once instead of once per order.
What about customs and VAT? +
You pay the store’s normal European price including VAT when you buy. Forwarding to another EU country involves no customs at all. For destinations outside the EU the carrier handles clearance and contacts you if duties apply — note that the US ended its $800 de-minimis exemption in 2025, so duties can apply to low-value parcels there too.
What if something needs to be returned? +
Returns are the genuine weak point of forwarding: once a parcel has left the EU, sending it back is usually more expensive than the item is worth. Choose sizes and variants carefully before ordering — this is the one part a forwarder cannot make cheap.
Other European shops
The same Budapest address works at every one of them — and parcels from different shops can travel home together.
