How to buy from Gucci and ship worldwide

Gucci is an Italian luxury house selling leather goods, ready-to-wear, footwear, accessories, jewellery and fragrance through its own country storefronts and boutiques.

Where Gucci delivers — and what to do if that is not you

Gucci operates region-specific online stores, and luxury houses generally restrict which countries each one will deliver to. Individual pieces are often allocated to a single market or sold only through boutiques.

This is an availability play, not a price one — and it is worth being explicit about that. Pieces are allocated by region, so something sold out or never listed in your market can still be in stock in Europe. What a European address does not buy you is a discount; see the first note below.

Retailers change their delivery countries without notice, so always confirm at checkout. If your own address is not accepted, a Budapest one will be — Hungary is inside the EU single market, and European shops ship there as a matter of course.

How it works

1

Get your EU address

Register for free and receive your personal Shipify address in Budapest, Hungary — a real street address inside the European Union. No monthly fee.

2

Order from Gucci to that address

Shop as any European customer would and enter your Shipify address at checkout. Your billing address can stay in your own country — the two do not need to match.

3

We receive and hold it

Your parcel appears in your panel the moment it arrives, with a photo on request. Storage is free for the first 30 days, so you can let several orders collect.

4

Forward it home

Pick your destination, combine parcels into one shipment if you like, and we ship door to door with full carrier tracking.

Ordering from Gucci: what actually matters

Practical notes specific to this retailer and what it sells.

Hungarian VAT is 27% — the highest in the EU

You pay that on the purchase, then import duty and tax again at your destination. On a luxury item that stacks up quickly. Order from a European storefront because the piece is there, not because you expect it to be cheaper.

Declare the full value

We declare what the invoice says. Under-declaring a luxury item risks seizure and penalties at customs, and voids transit cover on exactly the kind of parcel where cover is the point.

Returns are effectively one-way

Sending a high-value item back across a border is slow and expensive, and the return window may close before it arrives. Be certain about size, colour and reference before ordering.

Before you order: High-value shipments need to be agreed in advance so we can arrange the right carrier and cover — contact us before you order rather than after the parcel arrives. See our Terms for the full list.

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy from Gucci if they don’t deliver to my country? +

Yes — that is exactly what a forwarding address is for. You get a Budapest delivery address, Gucci treats the order as a normal European delivery, and we forward the parcel on to you. Always confirm at checkout whether the storefront accepts your billing card; the delivery address is the part we solve.

Can I pay Gucci with a card issued outside Europe? +

Usually yes. Most European storefronts accept international Visa and Mastercard, and your billing address does not have to match the delivery address. Some retailers additionally offer PayPal, which sidesteps the question entirely.

How much does the forwarding cost? +

It depends on destination and weight: a published per-kg rate with a small minimum, always shown in the panel before you confirm. Receiving a parcel costs a small intake fee. Consolidating several orders into one shipment is normally the largest saving available.

Can I combine several Gucci orders into one shipment? +

Yes, and you should. Parcels wait at the Budapest warehouse free of charge for 30 days, and you choose which ones travel together — you then pay international shipping once instead of once per order.

What about customs and VAT? +

You pay the store’s normal European price including VAT when you buy. Forwarding to another EU country involves no customs at all. For destinations outside the EU the carrier handles clearance and contacts you if duties apply — note that the US ended its $800 de-minimis exemption in 2025, so duties can apply to low-value parcels there too.

What if something needs to be returned? +

Returns are the genuine weak point of forwarding: once a parcel has left the EU, sending it back is usually more expensive than the item is worth. Choose sizes and variants carefully before ordering — this is the one part a forwarder cannot make cheap.

Other European shops

The same Budapest address works at every one of them — and parcels from different shops can travel home together.
