Five Vinted parcels, one box: pay international shipping once
Second-hand clothing is cheap, light and bought one seller at a time. That is the worst possible shape for international shipping: a single 0.4 kg parcel is billed at the 1 kg step of the courier tariff, so the postage on an €8 top is several times the top. Five such parcels in one box weigh 2 kg and are priced once.

The same haul, two ways

Taken when we pack your forward, if you ask for it — not when a parcel arrives. A record of what went into your box; by then Vinted’s 2-day window has usually closed.
How a haul comes together

Buy as normal, everything to Budapest
Each seller posts with Vinted’s own label to your Shipify address, with your ID next to your name. Separate orders always arrive as separate parcels — Vinted does not let sellers combine labels.

Watch the parcels land in your panel
A parcel appears in your panel the day it arrives, with its weight. Vinted’s 2-day window runs from that day and we do not open parcels on arrival, so each order usually completes before you see the item — do the checking before you buy.

Keep collecting for up to 30 days
There is no minimum and no maximum number of parcels in a box — only the weight and size limits of the box itself.

The panel shows the price before you confirm. Insurance, bubble wrap and a fragile label are optional per-parcel extras; nothing is added by default.

We repack into one box and ship it tracked
Soft Vinted bags pack down well, so a box of clothes is almost always billed on the scale, not on its volume. Transit is a few working days inside Europe and one to two weeks intercontinental.

Six habits that keep the box cheap
Bundle with the same seller first
Vinted’s own “bundle” combines up to 100 items from one seller into one order with one label — often with a discount. One label means one parcel, one intake fee. Only different sellers need our box.
Think in kilograms, not in items
A tee or a blouse is 150–300 g, jeans 500–800 g, a pair of shoes 800 g to 1.5 kg, a winter coat 1–2 kg. The curve steps at whole kilograms, so a box that lands at 2.1 kg is billed as 3 kg — check the panel weights before you add one more thing.
Ask sellers to skip the box
A jacket in a rigid box takes four times the space of the same jacket in a bag. International pricing is volumetric above a certain bulk, so packaging you never wanted can cost real money. We repack anyway, but bulky outer boxes cannot be un-bulked entirely.
Keep heavy things out of the clothes box
One pair of boots or a stack of books turns a 2 kg box into a 4 kg one. Forward heavy items separately or accept that they set the price of the whole box.
Know what we cannot forward
Counterfeits — which Vinted bans too — plus the usual prohibited goods, and parcels over 31.5 kg or 175 cm on the longest side. Perfume and cosmetics are fine.
Do the sum before you buy the first item
The table above is the honest version: one 0.4 kg parcel to United Kingdom costs about €37.74 to ship alone. If you only ever want one thing, forwarding is the wrong tool.

Is it cheaper to combine Vinted parcels into one shipment? +
Almost always, and by a lot for second-hand clothing, because a single light parcel is billed at the 1 kg step of the courier tariff. 5 parcels of 0.4 kg each to United Kingdom cost €201.20 forwarded one by one and €68.25 as one 2 kg box, fees included — €132.95 saved. Rates of 2026-09-10.
How long can my parcels wait at the warehouse? +
30 calendar days free per parcel, counted from arrival, then €0.30 per parcel per day. The panel e-mails you as the clock runs. A month is enough for most hauls; if one seller is slow, send the rest and start a new box.
Do you open the parcels? +
Not on arrival. When we consolidate we repack everything into one box, so the individual Vinted bags are opened then — the items themselves are not unpacked further. Photo documentation (€2.00 per parcel) is taken at that point, if you ask for it.
Can you check the item before I confirm on Vinted? +
Not within Vinted’s window, as a rule. Vinted gives you 2 calendar days from its delivery notification to press “I have an issue”, delivery means arrival at our address, and we do not open parcels on arrival — photo documentation is taken when we pack your forward. The check that counts happens before you pay: measurements, condition notes, extra photos from the seller.
What if a seller cancels or a parcel never arrives? +
Nothing reaches us, so nothing is charged: intake is per parcel received. Vinted refunds a cancelled or lost order to you directly. Your other parcels keep waiting in the panel as before.
Can I put Vinted parcels and shop orders in the same box? +
Yes. Anything that arrives at your address under your ID can go into the same shipment — Vinted finds, a drugstore order, a book from Libri. The only limits are the box itself and the destination’s rules on what may be imported.
What about customs on second-hand clothes? +
Inside the EU, nothing. To non-EU countries the carrier clears the box and bills any duty and import VAT to you before delivery; used clothing is still declarable goods. The US ended its duty-free de-minimis exemption in August 2025, so even a cheap box can attract charges there. Nothing of this goes to us.
