The catch is on the delivery list: most cross-border routes in this pool run through parcel lockers, which a warehouse cannot open. This page says which routes reach a street address, what the extra fees are, and — honestly — when a Polish address would serve you better than ours. Checked 10 September 2026. ## How the pool looks from vinted.hu Vinted links countries in pairs. Hungary’s pairs are Poland, Romania and Greece, so those sellers appear in your vinted.hu feed with a small country marker; the rest of Europe does not. Poland, for its part, is paired with 12 countries — the hub of the whole Central European pool. Re-checked monthly against each site’s own help page; last check 10 September 2026. ## Which routes reach a street address The carriers Vinted integrates on each cross-border route, and which of them deliver to an address rather than a locker. The seller chooses which appear on a listing, so the answer is per listing, not per country. ### 🇵🇱 From Poland Reaches our address DHL Express, DPD (home delivery) Locker only — does not work FoxPost, Packeta (lockers and pickup points only on this route), GLS CsomagPont Good: two courier options reach a street address on most listings. ### 🇷🇴 From Romania Reaches our address GLS — home delivery only where the listing offers it Locker only — does not work Sameday Easybox (the most common Romanian option), GLS lockers and shops Check every listing: many Romanian sellers offer lockers only. Ask before you buy. ### 🇬🇷 From Greece Reaches our address DHL Express, DPD (home delivery) Locker only — does not work Sameday Easybox Good when DHL or DPD is on the listing; Sameday-only listings do not work. ## Buying from the other three, step by step 1. 1 Use vinted.hu, not vinted.pl You do not need Polish, Romanian or Greek accounts or phone numbers. One vinted.hu account shows sellers from all four connected countries in the same feed; the listing tells you where the seller is. 2. 2 Look at the delivery options before you fall in love Open the listing, tap “buy” and read the delivery list. If it is lockers only — Sameday Easybox, FoxPost, Packeta point — message the seller with the phrase from our ordering guide, or move on. 3. 3 Pay in forint, plus the conversion fee Prices convert to forint at checkout; Polish, Romanian and Greek items carry a payment-provider conversion fee of 1.2% or 3% on top of the usual buyer-protection fee. 4. 4 Allow a few more days Cross-border Vinted parcels take longer than domestic ones, and users report occasional delays on the Greek route. The seller still has to post within Vinted’s deadline; after that the order cancels and refunds. 5. 5 Collect the rest, then one box The same 2-day rule applies from the day the parcel reaches us, and we do not open parcels on arrival. Mix Polish, Romanian, Greek and Hungarian finds in one box — 30 days of storage are free. ## Living abroad and missing vinted.ro, vinted.pl or vinted.gr? Your home site will not post to the UK, Germany or the US, and it will not accept a foreign address. The route that does work is the one above: a vinted.hu account, a Budapest delivery address, and a box home whenever you like. You will see most — not all — of the sellers you would see at home. The account still needs Vinted’s SMS verification, which is the same hurdle for everyone: [phone verification without a Hungarian SIM](/vinted/phone-verification/). ## When a Polish address beats ours If you only ever buy Polish items — or Czech, Slovak, Baltic or Nordic ones — a Polish forwarding address reaches 12 Vinted sites to our four. We would rather you knew that now than after registering. Budapest wins on the mix: the four Vinted sites plus every Hungarian webshop and private seller that only delivers domestically, all collecting under one ID and leaving in one box. ## Frequently asked questions Can I buy from vinted.pl with a Hungarian address? + Yes, indirectly: you buy on vinted.hu, where Polish sellers’ listings appear because Poland and Hungary are connected (checked 10 September 2026). The seller posts to our Budapest address with Vinted’s own label, and we forward it to you. You do not register on vinted.pl, and you do not need a Polish phone number. Do I see every Polish, Romanian and Greek listing on vinted.hu? + No. Sellers can switch international delivery options off, and Vinted excludes some categories from cross-border sales — “items of this type can’t be purchased from another country” is the message. You see the listings whose sellers are willing to post abroad, which is most of them but not all. Your home site, if you have one, always shows more. Which delivery options work from Poland, Romania or Greece to a Budapest street address? + DHL Express and DPD home delivery from Poland and Greece, and GLS home delivery from Poland and Romania where the listing offers it. FoxPost, Sameday Easybox, Packeta points and GLS lockers send the collection code to your phone, and we accept home delivery only — we do not collect from lockers, even with the code. Romanian sellers use Sameday most, so check each listing. Why can’t I buy from Hungary on vinted.cz, vinted.sk or vinted.hr? + Because those sites are connected to Poland but not to Hungary. Vinted links countries in pairs, not in blocks: Czechia and Slovakia are paired with Poland and each other, Croatia with Poland and Greece. A Hungarian listing is visible only in Hungary, Poland, Romania and Greece. A Budapest address puts you inside that set, and the forward home is an EU-internal parcel with no customs. Would a Polish address be better than yours? + For Polish items only, honestly, yes: Poland is the hub of the pool with 12 connections, Hungary has three, so a Polish forwarding address reaches sites ours does not (Czechia, Slovakia, the Baltics, the Nordics, Croatia, Slovenia). We say so because the alternative is a customer who finds out after registering. Where Budapest wins is the mix: Hungarian, Polish, Romanian and Greek Vinted plus every Hungarian shop that delivers domestically, in one box. Is buying cross-border on Vinted safe? + As safe as domestic, with the same buyer protection, as long as you pay through Vinted and never off-platform. Users do report more scam attempts since the pools merged; the usual signs apply — new accounts, prices far below the market, requests to pay elsewhere. Vinted refunds a parcel that never arrives; the risk is time, not money. Can you send a return back to a Polish, Romanian or Greek seller? + No. We post Vinted returns only within Hungary, to Hungarian sellers. For an item from Poland, Romania or Greece a return would have to go abroad and would usually cost more than the item, so ask for measurements and extra photos before you buy.
